The teens are planning a Rock-a-thon July 18-19

This is a fundraiser  to help with expenses to attend Nazarene Youth Congress (NYC) in July of 2026. NYC is a special discipliship event geared toward highschool students that happens every 4 years. It costs about $2100 for each student to attend next year. This includes travel to/from Salt Lake City, lodging and meals. We have several teens/adults in our church who would like to attend.

The rock-a-thon will begin at 8pm on Friday and end at 8pm on Saturday. Teens will ask for pledges to be made for each hour that they rock in the 24 hour period. Ian has a sign-up sheet if you would like to come and provide an activity for the teens to do during one hour. (This activity must involve sitting.) The teens will also need to borrow some extra rocking chairs to sit in.
