December 7, 2025 Bulletin

Welcome

Welcome to Brazil Naz. It is our sincere hope that you feel God's presence in our services and Christ's love in our people.

Information about the church, our ministries, upcoming events, and more can be found at brazilnaz.com.

We’d also love the opportunity to get to know you better. Whether you are new to the faith or have been a Christian your whole life, we want to be by your side along your spiritual journey. Please complete a Connection Form so we can keep in touch.

For our families with children

If you have children, we have several offerings for all ages.

On Sunday mornings, volunteers are available in the nursery for children up to age 3. A room is available for nursing mothers, too. Both rooms are located next to the Sanctuary near the west entrance.

Children ages 3-5 who are potty-trained can attend Wee Worship in the northeast classroom. Wee Worship offers playtime and learning activities.

Children in school up to age 12 can attend Children's Church. Children's Church offers lessons that reinforce Biblical values and principles. Children's Church is in the room next to the Library.

Once a month, we have a Family Sunday when children stay in the sanctuary with their family.

Christmas Program and Fellowship Dinner

Join us on December 21!

Our annual Christmas program will take place during our morning service. Then stay for a Christmas dinner!

Wendy Crafton is fixing some ham and turkey. Yum! We are asking that those who attend bring other side dishes, rolls, and desserts to complete our holiday meal. There is a sign-up sheet on the bulletin board. Come and plan to join our fellowship together.

St. Louis All-Stars Quiz

Jerad drove the bus and took several to St. Louis for a teen quizzing competition that included the top quizzers in several districts. Noah and Lucas Heffner and Maire and Declan McCollough attended from our team. Ian and Ellissa also attended as adult workers.

Teen Quizzing has changed locations!

Because of an unexpected, conflicting event at the Rockville Church of the Nazarene, our church will be hosting the district Teen Quizzing this Saturday, starting at 10am. This particular quiz will be different. Adults will be quizzing with the teens. Teens will also take turns reading the questions and being the content judges.  Come and watch as adults and teens engage in friendly competition while learning God’s Word.

East Side Staff Ministry

Those who signed up to make Christmas treats for Eastside Elementary staff on December 17, next week, should have their goodies delivered to the church kitchen by 10am that morning.

Communion Sunday

We will be sharing in Communion today in the morning worship service. Remember to get your disposable elements in the foyer before service.

Church bus!

Stop by and see the new logo on our church bus!

Update: We will continue to collect food & cash for a food pantry in our community.

The cash box will be at the Welcome Center and the donation barrel will be in the hall where the coat racks are. You may give as your heart leads you.

This Week’s Message

"While They Were There"

Scripture: Luke 2:4-7

4 Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, 5 to be registered with Mary, his betrothed wife, who was with child. 6 So it was, that while they were there, the days were completed for her to be delivered. 7 And she brought forth her firstborn Son, and wrapped Him in swaddling cloths, and laid Him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.
