Welcome to Brazil Naz. It is our sincere hope that you feel God's presence in our services and Christ's love in our people.
Information about the church, our ministries, upcoming events, and more can be found at brazilnaz.com.
We’d also love the opportunity to get to know you better. Whether you are new to the faith or have been a Christian your whole life, we want to be by your side along your spiritual journey. Please complete a Connection Form so we can keep in touch.
For our families with children
If you have children, we have several offerings for all ages.
On Sunday mornings, volunteers are available in the nursery for children up to age 3. A room is available for nursing mothers, too. Both rooms are located next to the Sanctuary near the west entrance.
Children ages 3-5 who are potty-trained can attend Wee Worship in the northeast classroom. Wee Worship offers playtime and learning activities.
Children in school up to age 12 can attend Children's Church. Children's Church offers lessons that reinforce Biblical values and principles. Children's Church is in the room next to the Library.
Once a month, we have a Family Sunday when children stay in the sanctuary with their family.

Faith Promise Sunday is Next Week
Brian Ruark (missionary to Honduras) will be speaking in our morning service.
Faith Promise is a way to give regularly throughout the year to Nazarene Missions. Nazarene’s call it the World Evangelism Fund (WEF). The money supports salaries, benefits, and training for missionaries; global publications; as well as regional and global leadership offices and staff.
Pledges are given in faith above the tithe. The amount is between yourself and God. All ages are encouraged to participate. No amount is too small. Pray about what God would want you to give to expand His Kingdom throughout the world.
National Ave Trick or Treat
Bring in some candy for the “Trick or Treat on National Avenue.” Our church will be there to participate. We passed out candy to about 1,000 kids last year. It was a fun time to meet the community and share a positive influence.
SWID EQUIP
Each year the Southwest Indiana District has a training day for various roles in church leadership. This year it will be Saturday, November 1, 9:15-3:00 at the Valley Mission Church of the Nazarene outside of Bedford. Check out the names/speakers for each session on the SWID website. They are also posted on our bulletin board in the foyer. Chick-Fil-A will be catering the lunch. Online registration is required. The cost is $20 by Oct. 20, $25 by Oct 28, and $30 after Oct. 29
This Week’s Message
"Early Church Portraits"
Scripture: 3 John
1 The Elder,
To the beloved Gaius, whom I love in truth:
2 Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, just as your soul prospers. 3 For I rejoiced greatly when brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, just as you walk in the truth. 4 I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth.
5 Beloved, you do faithfully whatever you do for the brethren and for strangers, 6 who have borne witness of your love before the church. If you send them forward on their journey in a manner worthy of God, you will do well, 7 because they went forth for His name''s sake, taking nothing from the Gentiles. 8 We therefore ought to receive such, that we may become fellow workers for the truth.
9 I wrote to the church, but Diotrephes, who loves to have the preeminence among them, does not receive us. 10 Therefore, if I come, I will call to mind his deeds which he does, prating against us with malicious words. And not content with that, he himself does not receive the brethren, and forbids those who wish to, putting them out of the church.
11 Beloved, do not imitate what is evil, but what is good. He who does good is of God, but he who does evil has not seen God.
12 Demetrius has a good testimony from all, and from the truth itself. And we also bear witness, and you know that our testimony is true.
13 I had many things to write, but I do not wish to write to you with pen and ink; 14 but I hope to see you shortly, and we shall speak face to face.
Peace to you. Our friends greet you. Greet the friends by name.
